Investigation indicated on May this year, 61% of cross-section of Huaihe River water belongs to five grade of water quality or even worse five. Only 39% of cross-section of Huaihe River water can meet the better standard---two to four grade of water quality. The water quality of Huaihe River in Shandong Province is too bad. The main pollutant is permanganate and ammonia(not in ion).
