　　An environment friendly technology developed at Taishan Green Products Manufacturing Co Ltd is able to turn 95% of Municipal Solid Waste to organic compound fertilizer and construction bricks. The technology has been inspected and approved by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology.

　　The company has set up the Beijing Shijingshan Rubbish Treatment Demonstration Centre this year with an initial investment of $1.56 million. The centre treats 250 tons of MSW a day, producing 50,000 tons of fertilizer annualy. The technology works like this.

　　The Centre produces four types of fertilizer specifically for vegetables, fruit trees, tobaccos and grain crops in two brand names: Green Garden and New Garden. The former contains 10 units of NPK nutrient and the latter contains 20 units of such nutrient by international standards.
