CSIR, Environmentek is looking for interns to join the current group of environmental and resource economics for a period of one year (starting 1 April) with the opportunity to full employment after the internship. The position offers much scope for personal development through targeted investment programs, opportunities for further studies and capable in-house mentorship.

The positions will be focused on development economics with specific relation to sustainability and will require economic analysis of key environmental and resource issues, such as water use, land use, forestry, biodiversity loss and climate change. The incumbent should have a degree in economics, preferably with honors or masters level experience in resource or environmental economics, with a focus on quantitative and analytical thinking skills. Any previous affiliation with or studies on environmental issues would be to the applicant's advantage.
