Official from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said on September 22, from 1991 about 270,000 of the Middle Asian residents left their homes because of the devastating environmental disasters. After the Soviet Union disintegrated, the biggest migration happened with two reasons: the Salt Sea has been reducing gradually and nuclear radiation in the Middle Asian Region, which threatened the people health.
