It is reported that the Eastern China's College of Science and engineering has got a breakthrough in de-sulfurization from smoke discharged by thermal power plant.
According to statistics provided by the State Environmental Protection Administration of China, quantity of the coal consumption in 1995 is around 1280 million tons and the sulfur dioxide discharged reached 2731 million tons which is equal to those imported from overseas for producing fertilizers....
