The first map reflecting the ecological status of China comes out
150,000 green maps of China to provide primary and middle schools

( Abstract )

The first map directly reflecting the ecological status of China will come out. In addition, the large environment public activity under the name of "Green Map of China" Project will start also. It will take for 10 years to complete.

The Green Map of China will be used as environmental education tools for pupils and middle school students. The map is approved by SEPA and authorized by Map of China Publishing House on the trust of China Environmental Protection Fund. Different colors will mark the ecological status of China, including the increasing desertification land, the latency desertification land, natural forests and artificial forests...

Before June 5th, China Environmental Protection Fund will present freely 150,000 green maps of China to 25,000 primary and middle schools. The distribution will be continued in the future.
