Yangtze River Key Dike Concealed Project is the first one of China to introduce environmental supervision system. It is one of the key state national-debt projects. From 2001 to the present, 50 engineers in such field coming from the Ministry of Water Resources engaged in environmental monitoring to the project and the project impact area along the dike of the river.
