Starting from 4 o'clock in the afternoon of December 31st, 2001, snowstorm and sandstorm hit Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The climate is unseen in last 40 years. Incomplete statistics show that until January 10th this year the snowstorm caused 13 deaths, 16 missing and 80,000 livestock were died of it. That not included near 100,000 livestock missing. It was saying the snow disaster would last for over 100 days...
