In the middle of June, locusts were found along the side of reservoirs and canals in Miyuan, Yanqing and Kuairou of Beijing. These locusts eat all sorts of things, and thus are very harmful to corns, millets, beans and clovers. The density in some areas has reached 840 per square meter.
