Since summer, locust attacks have happened in more than 100 counties of eight provinces and autonomous regions in China. By June 14, flying locusts have happened on the land of almost one million hectares primarily at the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River and Bohai Sea area. This was reported at the national conference on preventing and controlling locusts.
