The drought is still very serious in China. Statistics show that the drought affected 18.2 million hectares of crops. 27 million people and 17 million livestock do not have enough water to drink. Many large cities are short of water. They are Tianjin, Jinan, Yantai, Weihai, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Chengde and Huludao.
