Since June 23rd, a series of rain visited Gansu province, averaging 10mm in most areas. Gansu has been under drought since spring, dry soil thickness reached 50 cm. Agriculture production is severely hampered. The recent rain is the result of activities of hot and cold air in the surrounding area.
